The Challenge
Create a Three-Step End Page, for a reboot of any Nickelodeon IP from the 90’s or Early 00’s that has not yet been rebooted.
The series follows Danny Fenton, a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks.

Nickelodeon's most recent branding features a majority pf 3D animation, with the occasional 2D for additional elements. All animation feels snappy and full of energy.
Pitches
Approach one was a 3D approach to the original logo, playing on Nick's current branding.
Chosen Pitch
It was decided that a combination of the directions should move forward: using the 3D and mixing it with the 2D on top.
Approach two was using the idea of ghost invisibility to have the text reveal when a ghost travels over it.
NOTES: The 3D at this point wasn't working. It needed to feel more 3D and should have a new approach to the color/design on the text.
First Pass
Summary
This pass aimed to rough out the overall timing of the animation and made sure all elements were fitting stylistically as well.
Notes
The main notes for this pass were that there needed to be more elements throughout. The main title needed outlines like the original title and the ghost zone needed structures like the purple doors in the show.
Second Pass
Summary
This pass aimed to have a more finalized animation. Textures were more refined and animation was added to all elements.
Notes
Although overall this pass was heading in the right direction, there were several changes that needed to be made. There still needed to be more elements in the ghost zone and the blurry background wasn't working.

The 2D alpha transitions were also not working so I needed to find new transitions for next pass.
A fun challenge of this pass was recreating the ghost zone doors and other structures into 3D.
Revision Pass
Summary
For this revision pass the focus was to make all the elements feel like they were in the same world and to add more dimension overall.
Notes
This pass was a step in the right direction, but still had several changes that needed to be made. Small errors in the render needed to be fixed and there still needed to be more elements. My creative director also wanted some of the original cel elements added back to the piece.
